Zip-Line Adventure

Outdoor activities are eventually tiring yet a fun activity. You will be able to enjoy the magnificent views of nature away from the civilization. Zip-line and Two Line Traverse is one of the outdoor activities. My cousins Mark and John who actually work in OutLand Adventure located in Maa, the longest Zip-line in Asia, introduce these to us. So we decided to try it.

November 29, 2008 was one of the best things I have done in my life and the beginning of my new adventure. As my cousin said “it was the first time I entrust my life to a cable that is attached to my body”, which is true and therefore safe. When we got there, the place was so beautiful the landscape was OK, it give you a peace of mind but when I saw the zip-line, I can’t understand the feeling, I’m excited at the same time afraid of the one kilometer Zip-line, a height of 200 feet and a speed of 100 kilometer per hour. Before we get to the top, we cross a lake, I call it water rafting adventure (LOL) and a 10-20 minute hike to get to the Two Line Traverse, but if you are use in hiking you can get there fast. You have to cross to the Two Line Traverse to reach the start of the Zip-line. At first I get so scared thinking I might slip and fall while crossing on the wire but it won’t definitely happen because the rope is just enough for you to step on the wire and it is securely lock. The wonderful scenery will wipe all your worries. WOW it was such a beauty. I recommend you to try it.

Next stop is the Zip-Line, the most awaited part. Well to be honest, I am afraid of that moment, my knees were slightly trembling, I just keep talking to myself that I can do it and talk to my companions to forget what I feel, and I decided to be the second one to stop this agony. You know what? It was awesome, I actually take a video of myself while riding on it, and believe it or not, it wasn’t enough for me it was just a 30 seconds ride, whoa that fast. I want it to be much longer but I guess I couldn’t find it here in the Philippines unless I’ll go to South Africa and try the Worlds’ Longest Zip-Line.

This is the best outdoor experience I have tried. It is really amazing I enjoyed it. The 300Php is good enough to try this outdoor adventure. We are definitely going back again.
