I first saw it Yahoo main page, I was curious on this shoes so I search for it and found their main site. I am not really a into running but I was kind the planning of replacing my old Merrell shoes for it has been 6 years in service already and I found Merrell Barefoot would be suitable for me. It has been the Best Trail Running Shoe in Shape Magazine 2011 Shoe Guide. They have actually good reviews this are some of the review I have read about Merrell Barefoot Pace Glove Review.

Barefoot Pace Glove is design not only for plane roads but also for the rough ones, that what makes me like the Pace Glove it can do both, it is worth the price actually. It has a synthetic leather rear foot sling that provides stability. A non-removable microfiber foot bed treated with Aegis antimicrobial solution resist odor. A fused rubber toe bumper provides ultimate durability. Merrell Omni-Fit™ lacing system secured with welded TPU provides a precise, glove-like fit. It has a 4mm compression molded EVA midsole cushions. A 1mm forefoot shock absorption plate maintains forefoot flexibility and protects the foot by distributing pressure.

I like the style of it the weight it is so light, I could barely feel the weight of my feet instead my shoes. I wear it with socks because I am not quite comfortable without it. It sole really has a good grip. It is actually washable in cold water, gentle cycle or air dry. The only thing that bothers me is my ankle it does not hurt but I am just not at ease because of the grip of the side lining of the shoe but over all really is a great shoe. Well now I could have my sleep stages
ghenessahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09792630337146983792noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2196221441485752201.post-77232435078434928972010-10-17T22:37:00.000+08:002010-11-13T14:30:36.319+08:00How do you Outsmart the Threats of Commute in Metro Manila?Manila is one of the busiest places in the Philippines and because of it you won’t know the thieves have an eye for your valuables.

Well when I was in Manila last October 6, 2010 my friends, Miah and Sharon meet me in the airport and then we go up in the departure area because the taxi is cheaper there. They say the yellow taxi has a bigger plug down rate, but before we can get a taxi they warned me to always ask the driver if it’s fixed or metered, for your convenience.

When we are roaming around the city, I always see to it that my things are in tack and that I could get hold of them in my sling bag, for sling bags are just easy to watch over than pack bags. I keep my cards in the secret pocket of my bag and slip some money in it if something went bad. I left some valuable things at home that I’ll know I won’t be using on the road, that is why I left my laptop at my hometown.

But I have a discovery about this amazing anti thief bag that I found in outoftownblog called Pacsafe Commutasafe 100 Laptop Bag that you can’t only put your laptop in it but also some other valuable things secured because of its built in combination lock, slashproof lower and bottom panels of the bag, and that goes with the sling too. This is absolutely a one of the must have things for those who want their valuables to bring it with them anywhere they go.
ghenessahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09792630337146983792noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2196221441485752201.post-82229352327816678062010-06-04T21:44:00.000+08:002010-06-04T23:34:09.649+08:00Boots for Hunting????

As I surf the net, looking for some classy jackets to wear I happened to find these hunter boots and I was astonish by it because I thought it is use only for hunters who go to the woods and hunt animals, well I was wrong. It is a collection of stylish boots that are commonly used in winter. Well hunter wellies have really cool and elegant boots to wear though.

Boots are really useful especially on winter and in rainy season, but these I guess it’s could be use in different occasion also because of its classy look, not just like for what’s the weather for today.
“We've introduced the best new materials as they come along and invented a special, secret process that makes an infinitely better boot.”

By the looks of it you can say that the materials use are good. Hunter boots I guess are really worth buying.
ghenessahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09792630337146983792noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2196221441485752201.post-82674174756678558522010-02-24T09:36:00.001+08:002011-08-15T15:00:04.005+08:00My Birthstone
Birthstone is gemstone that varies according to the month that the person is born; January-Garnet, February-Amethyst, March-Aquamarine, April-Diamond, May-Emerald, June-Pearl, July-Ruby, August-Peridot, September-Sapphire, October-Opal, November-Topaz and December-Turquoise. According to Buzzle birthstone are said to be an ancient culture that is traditionally associated with zodiac signs that has legendary powers and unique personality traits to people who are born under their ruling planet.

As for me I was born in August so my birthstone would be Peridot. I have been wearing these Peridot earrings since birth. I don’t know I just don’t feel comfortable wearing other type of earrings, maybe because green is one of my favorite color. Anyways, there are really different meanings of Peridot they say that it provides protection from nightmares, others say it is a money stone meaning it brings money and opportunity into your life (hope it does), some say it help cures illnesses but for all I know is that it helps drives negative energy, somewhat a protection from bad things to happen. I guess it was effective though because I have been through different experiences in my life that I passed it through.

I believe that these birthstones are only symbols that we can link to what is reality, it doesn’t actually tells us of who we are nor our future. It will still be up to us to decide the kind of life we want, and the only thing that I am quite sure about it, is that it is really nice to look when you wear these gems.
ghenessahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09792630337146983792noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2196221441485752201.post-8618846440208159172009-09-18T08:50:00.001+08:002011-04-27T10:50:23.534+08:00My Own Router At Last
At last I have now my own Linksys WRT54GL Wireless-G Broadband Router. I have been longing to have a Linksys router ever since, for I find it reliable because they have been into networking products for a longer time already. I really search for what is best router for me and I found WRT54GL better.

WRT54GL Wireless-G Broadband Router of course is a wireless router, that has 4 10/100 RJ-45 Switched Ports that allows you to connect the devices that is not wireless and an Ethernet port of course for your DSL or High speed internet connection. It is really easy to configure just type in your internet browser 192.168.1.1 and you are ready to go. Well unfortunately I wasn’t able to use it at home for the reason that PLDT has no response yet for our internet connection at home ever since March that we have applied for it. So I tried it in my cousins’ house. We have tried using it for 3 Laptops, wired PC and a PSP all together and it works perfectly fine the internet connection wasn’t that slow as long as no one is downloading a file, of course the internet speed would matter accordingly.

I find Linksys WRT54GL Wireless-G Broadband Router better so far but you can always look to the internet for your preference like what I did. There are really different kinds of router to choose depending of your use but for me this is so far so good.

I was so excited to go there. I borrowed my sisters’ camera to take some of the pictures that Jojie had taken in the place but sadly I was not able to. It is a 20-30 minutes boat ride from Lanang to Bali Bali Resort Samal.

When we got there, the first thing you will see is this fine hut in the docking area where passengers could sit back and relax while waiting for your boat in going home or just the pleasure of sitting there just to get some fresh air, and their catwalk towards the place were nice. When I reach their main attraction their so called “infinity pool”, it was so inviting, it has a kids pool, a mini somewhat like a Jacuzzi and I think it’s a 4ft for adults. I do have the chance to swim in, but my other companions weren’t able to for infinity = 10. Their landscape around the pool was so neat and calm.

But what I don’t like about the place is their beach wasn’t that pleasing, there are too many sea urchins and corals that are painful to your feet when you step on it. Also the owner wasn’t polite to treat their guest. Their staffs were great but the owner wasn’t, she was so ruthless in driving us away from the pool side for it wasn't part of the conditions made which we don't know about. We are only allowed to stay at the beach side, but she could have talk well to the leader of the group to relay the message because we don’t know what the arrangements are. They should have cleared it out to the person in charge before the group got there.

I would love to go around the place hoping to get some more nice pictures and to experience what Bali Bali is all about, but unfortunately the fun just end because of the same reason. We just enjoy ourselves taking picture of ourselves of the scenery of the place like criminals. Bring some floaters, for you can swim in the docking area for those who don’t know how to swim but would love to swim in the beach. The beach was so clear and clean by the way. Their food was delicious. Lastly clear things out first to the owner, of who are you talking to so that there would be no problem when you get there. Overall in the rate from 1 to 10, 10 as the highest I give it a 6 for I haven’t seen other part of the place and enjoyed some of their amenities.

ghenessahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09792630337146983792noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2196221441485752201.post-41369626402248928092009-03-02T11:39:00.000+08:002011-08-15T15:15:23.543+08:00Slumdog Millionaire

They all say this is a great movie because it was nominated for ten Academy Awards and it has a great story. As I see the movie out of inquisitiveness, well they were all right. All along I believe this movie was just some typical love story that the guy wants to see the person he love by joining this contest and the characters of the story wasn’t really well known artist so I thought that this is not a good movie. Read more
Well I guess I have to disagree with that. First I have to tell you his story first. This teacher was invited by his student to have dinner with her, so he agrees thinking that they will just eat in a restaurant. But as they reached the place it was not as what he expected, it was a beer house, that you can see people smoking and drinking, and outside there were prostitutes waiting for their customers. Surprisingly what he did, he told the girl that he can’t stay any longer for he is not comfortable with the place, though the girl insisted him to stay and suggested to ignore the people around or may be close his eyes he still choose to go.

It just shows that we do have a choice, some are involve with these immorality because they choose to, well in fact they can resist it if they want to I believe that we have all the freedom to choose, we can’t blame any circumstances that we can’t stop it from happening. What’s the purpose of our mouth if we can’t speak and say something? What’s wrong in saying “NO” when you know for a fact that it is the good thing to do? You might not realize it now but that seed that you have planted may have healthy fruits yet suffers deep scars within.

ghenessahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09792630337146983792noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2196221441485752201.post-75807902612523919592009-02-18T10:58:00.000+08:002009-02-18T11:05:00.450+08:00Because of the FARE
Jeepney is our means of transportation here in Davao, if you pay your fare you have to ask politely a favor of the person nearer to the driver or to the person in charge of holding the fare to give it to them, but what happened is when I am ready to pay my ride, I ask politely to this three young ladies who happened to be a student in the Ateneo de Davao University College, that at least one of them to give it to Jeepney driver.

I am not sure if they didn’t hear me really because they were talking or maybe just pretended that they didn’t hear me, so I touch the person near to me to get her attention and ask again politely to hand over my fare to the Jeepney driver and with a thank you of course. Yes she takes my fare and sarcastically imitates what I just said to her to her friends when she hand it over to person nearer to the driver.

Well I did not expect that kind of discourtesy from a respectable University may be they weren’t listening to their values class, absent or failed the subject. While talking to my co-worker a lady ask politely to hand over her fare so I took it and again the three young ladies I mentioned lately ignored me so I just hand it over to person at the opposite side of the seat. I didn’t know that the person next to me notice it, she just told me that they were deaf and the only thing they know is to make their self pretty and I think I know what she wants to tell me.

Well I think the world today really needs help because young generation today doesn’t really understand these basic values that were thought during Primary Education or maybe because of the fast change in this world, schools has already for got to teach these core values to there students but I guess it’s not really the fault of Education because they are in the right age so it’s not an excuse if the person grow up that way, may be I think because they choose to live and act that way, that in fact we have the freedom to choose.

ghenessahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09792630337146983792noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2196221441485752201.post-32942251657431350442009-02-06T14:53:00.000+08:002009-02-06T16:28:39.450+08:00Mayor Rodrigo Duterte VS the Church
Last Sundays’ "Gikan sa Masa, Para sa Masa" viewed only in Davao ABS-CBN. Its’ about the issue of the allegation of Father Lamata towards Mayor Rodrigo Duterte about Mayor Duterte as a killer that made him angry that leads to, definitely destroy the credibility of the priest and of the Catholic Church. He said last Sunday February 1, 2009 reading the marriage Certificate authenticated by the NSO (National Statistic Office) states that Pedro Pedragosa Lamata was married to Ma. Asuncion Baluran on May 11, 1982. Mayor Dueterte was really unstoppable that time but even though he still requested for a settlement between the two of them but Mayor wants it in public so that there will be no other issues be raised. For more...

Well as I see it the Church should stick to their responsibilities in the society as our Government here in Davao does, by telling the good words of God, these values, by reminding the people how to be good not what the government have done to our society, like last Saturdays homily of the Priest it seems like he is provoking the people to fight against the government, to take a rally or what, is he not suppose to tell us to be good instead to be right, because that’s what God wants us to be, to be good children. We have different roles to perform in this world Even Jesus Christ says to the People that “what is for Cesar is for Cesar and what is for the God is for the God.” it shows that God wants as to perform accordingly.

If they are true that Mayor Duterte is a killer then I will thank him for because almost all that was being killed were hoodlums and I believe that the people who are innocent will fight for it and our government here in Davao will support them, but it doesn’t mean that killing a person is good, of course not, it is like the movie Constantine if you have seen it you will understand what I mean. Well I would still say that Davao is still a livable and peaceful city compared to other places.

Either way, as they all say nobody is perfect but trough these experiences that we have there is always a lesson to be learned and there is always a cup of tea or coffee to talk it over. Watch this Sunday morning not sure of the schedule if it is 9 or 11 in the morning for the update of the issue.

ghenessahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09792630337146983792noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2196221441485752201.post-69286436154352406462009-01-30T10:47:00.000+08:002009-01-30T10:52:37.852+08:005 Years in All Courses?
Starting school year 2009-2010 courses are now 5 years to take that’s what CHED said. The courses are accountancy, architecture, education, nursing, engineering, occupational therapy, physical therapy and pharmacy. In an interview, Angeles said the program is part of the overall effort to transform the Philippine educational system into one that conforms to global standards. Presidential Adviser for Education Mona Valisno also said the five-year courses would do more to improve the Filipino graduates’ competitiveness in the international labor market. For more…

I don’t think this is necessary because most courses like me an engineering graduate have subjects before that does not really relevant to my course and it is already a 5 year course. If they are thinking about the competitiveness in the labor market I suggest they should study each courses first, weight things, what are relevant subjects and the trainings the students need after they graduate. CHED should also see to it that the schools are capable to do these requirements and had enough facilities to accommodate all the students.

One thing also, as we all know we are experiencing a global crisis as they say, some couldn’t anymore afford to go to school so how much more now that it is a five year course already, unless the government will provide part time jobs for the students.

Well I agree to this only if the curriculum is reasonable and that could really benefit the new generation today. Lucky if you are born rich, they can go to any prestigious school they want but either way it will always still up to the students how he or she wants his life to be.

ghenessahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09792630337146983792noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2196221441485752201.post-39983940509489094942009-01-14T14:00:00.000+08:002009-01-30T10:53:43.503+08:00Raid in Ateneo de Davao University?
A bunch of armed policemen came to Ateneo de Davao University and the securities were so tight. As I arrived almost 9am in the morning January 14, 2009, I was surprised of what I saw because they almost occupy the area, I wonder what the commotion is. I was confused which way to pass because it might not be allowed to go that way.

As I reached the area where the group of policeman at, I look around who they arrested or what, but I saw some men wearing formal attire and I thought there is a visitor in the campus. I over heard some policemen talking that the president of East Timor a country in the Southeast Asia Dr. Jose Ramos-Horta, received a Nobel Peace Prize award in 1996, will come in the school.

Nobody knows except for the people involve, that there will be an affair in the school premises. They will be talking about peace and order. I’m not quite sure if President Gloria Arroyo will also come it is just a rumor.

It is really a different feeling when you find too many policemen that they don’t usually come to that place and you don’t know the purpose why they are there. Well we all know the life of a celebrity and powerful men. We just have to get use to it.
ghenessahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09792630337146983792noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2196221441485752201.post-10180939515100208262009-01-05T11:26:00.000+08:002009-02-06T15:55:31.982+08:00Christmas And New Year in Davao City

Christmas and New Year in Davao City was a very peaceful and silent night, for Mayor Rodrigo Duterte creates a law that prevent the use, selling and holding of firecrackers in the city. Meaning it is not allowed, a fine or imprisonment is the punishment for disobeying the law.

Actually there are still stubborn people that thinks could get away with it. As I watch “Para sa Masa” seen in ABC-CBN Davao, every Sunday 9:30AM, there are still many who are imprisoned because of it. They will only be released after they have judged by the court and since there are so many holidays last season, for the mean time they will be detained in jail. And for the kids who were caught they will only stay for one night in jail and a lecture is given to their parents by their Barangay Captains. So they really spent there Christmas and New Year in jail including the families of the detainees. It would be a lesson for them so that this year they will already think twice if they don’t want to spend their Christmas and New Year in jail.

As for me I enjoyed my Christmas and New Year, though I don’t have plenty of gifts received, I am still happy and enjoyed the love and time shared by my family and relatives to be together, to celebrate it. It is like a tradition already to celebrate Christmas Eve in my aunts’ house, we played some parlor games, of course eat a lot and drink less LOL. In New Year we visited one of our cousins who was sick and brought ice cream, to share it with him. Then roam in some places in the city.

Others say that they don’t really feel the spirit of Christmas and New Year without firecrackers. Well for me it is a good thing because, besides that it prevents the accidents that might cause by lighting the firecrackers and the money you spend in buying it, you will also have more time to spend with your family, relatives and friends that keeps the bond much stronger, instead of watching the dazzling firecrackers in the night.

More Pics

ghenessahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09792630337146983792noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2196221441485752201.post-68670376555711263412008-12-18T11:38:00.000+08:002009-03-20T10:15:18.067+08:00Blog AdvertisingAlmost all people in the world really hook up on the internet because it is really easy access in everything that you want. Like shopping online, watching movies, listening to music. You can also look for information on certain things or places that you want to go and book hotels, so that when you get there it wouldn’t be hard for you and the time you spend in looking for a place to stay will be use in enjoying more the place.

That is why a lot of companies want to advertise on the net because more and more people are having there own internet connection everyday and shop online. It is an advantage for companies to sell there product online, it’s an extra profit for them and no hassle for consumers, and I am one of those people who actually buy stuffs online but be very extra careful of fraud sellers.

One of the best ways of advertising is Blog Advertising. It is still the usual advertising but the difference is the people who are qualified for advertising a certain products are bloggers, that has its own site and share his or her experiences and opinions on that product. So companies won’t need to spend more money to have there on site and hire more people to write about there product, instead they just have look for qualified bloggers that could write for there product and since there are so many bloggers existed it wouldn’t be so hard for them to look for qualified one.

PayingPost is one of a blog advertising network, they accept not only companies who want to advertise there product but also bloggers. You have to cross to the Two Line Traverse to reach the start of the Zip-line. At first I get so scared thinking I might slip and fall while crossing on the wire but it won’t definitely happen because the rope is just enough for you to step on the wire and it is securely lock. The wonderful scenery will wipe all your worries. WOW it was such a beauty. I recommend you to try it.

You know what? It was awesome, I actually take a video of myself while riding on it, and believe it or not, it wasn’t enough for me it was just a 30 seconds ride, whoa that fast. Have you noticed that there are only few classes of birds flew from the sky and few fishes in the ocean? And have you noticed the change of climate? Did you not realize why we experience great floods, storms and other phenomenal events.

It is because of us, we human beings are supposed to take care of God's creation, but what we do is abuse it or watch people doing it and worst follow them even if it is wrong, without thinking the consequences of their actions. Like dynamite fishing which cause the destruction of the coral reefs the home of the living creatures of the sea, throwing of garbage or waste in any bodies of water and anything that will cause water pollution that we don't know it increase the release of carbon dioxide that is one of the causes why our ozone layer is damaged.

The trees that suppose to stop the carbon dioxide from moving up the surface were cut down by the illegal loggers or some developers who doesn't value the trees as long as their profit is good. Over all effect, the sudden change of climate, Heavy rainfall that leads to floods because there are no enough trees to absorb it. Ice melts in the Arctic Ocean and Polar bears are gone extinct. Nature is giving back what we have done to it.

How are we going to prevent these things to happen? Is it too late to save mother earth? We are the one who make our own destruction or worst our extinction. It is never too late unless God says so. Together we can prevent worst things to happen by joining or relating an organization that will help preserve the environment and always be aware of your surroundings. You can also help by throwing your own garbage in a proper way. If ever you witness any illegal activities, report it to the authorities and help or suggest an entrapment to assure their actions are caught. The choice is really up to us, to decide whether to do what is right and wrong, for the common good.ghenessahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09792630337146983792noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2196221441485752201.post-21228123016869705732008-10-19T20:52:00.000+08:002011-02-02T13:52:40.594+08:00oDesk
It is uniquely written by Antoine De Saint-Exupéry, it has a different interpretation of life but strikes you like lightning. It talks about the innocence of a child that makes the grown up wonder and forgets about the most important thing not only a child wants but all of us. That is…. Just read the book and you’ll find the answer I don’t want to spoil your reading. A few minutes later the taxi came to pick us up. As we reached our destination of course we unload our stuffs. Unfortunately we the left the bag with a Philips DVD player, a shirt and a sarong in it. Because of tiredness and sleepiness we overlooked the unit number of the taxi, his name and his face. The bag was exactly placed at the back of our heads at the back seat. I'm not sure if it was seen in the front mirror. My mother called the Maligaya Taxi Office and told them the incident. Sad to tell but there is no feedback from the taxi driver.</st1:date>

<st1:date year="2008" day="9" month="6">
</st1:date>

<st1:date year="2008" day="9" month="6">Moral lesson is always "DOUBLE" check first before you leave.
</st1:date>

<st1:date year="2008" day="9" month="6">
</st1:date>
ghenessahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09792630337146983792noreply@blogger.com2
