My new Pair of Shoes

Just got my new Merrell Barefoot Pace Glove.  I first saw it Yahoo main page, I was curious on this shoes so I search for it and found their main site. I am not really a into running but I was kind the planning of replacing my old Merrell shoes for it has been 6 years in service already and I found  Merrell Barefoot would be suitable for me. It has been the Best Trail Running Shoe in Shape Magazine 2011 Shoe Guide. They have actually good reviews this are some of the review I have read about Merrell Barefoot Pace Glove Review.

Barefoot Pace Glove  is design not only for plane roads but also for the rough ones, that what makes me like the Pace Glove it can do both, it is worth the price actually. It has a synthetic leather rear foot sling that provides stability. A non-removable microfiber foot bed treated with Aegis antimicrobial solution resist odor. A fused rubber toe bumper provides ultimate durability. Merrell Omni-Fit™ lacing system secured with welded TPU provides a precise, glove-like fit. It has a 4mm compression molded EVA midsole cushions. A 1mm forefoot shock absorption plate maintains forefoot flexibility and protects the foot by distributing pressure.

I like the style of it the weight it is so light, I could barely feel the weight of my feet instead my shoes.  I wear it with socks because I am not quite comfortable without it. It sole really has a good grip. It is actually washable in cold water, gentle cycle or air dry. The only thing that bothers me is my ankle it does not hurt but I am just not at ease because of the grip of the side lining of the shoe but over all really is a great shoe. Well now I could have my sleep stages

How do you Outsmart the Threats of Commute in Metro Manila?

Manila is one of the busiest places in the Philippines and because of it you won’t know the thieves have an eye for your valuables.

Well when I was in Manila last October 6, 2010 my friends, Miah and Sharon meet me in the airport and then we go up in the departure area because the taxi is cheaper there. They say the yellow taxi has a bigger plug down rate, but before we can get a taxi they warned me to always ask the driver if it’s fixed or metered, for your convenience.

When we are roaming around the city, I always see to it that my things are in tack and that I could get hold of them in my sling bag, for sling bags are just easy to watch over than pack bags. I keep my cards in the secret pocket of my bag and slip some money in it if something went bad. I left some valuable things at home that I’ll know I won’t be using on the road, that is why I left my laptop at my hometown.

But I have a discovery about this amazing anti thief bag that I found in outoftownblog called Pacsafe Commutasafe 100 Laptop Bag that you can’t only put your laptop in it but also some other valuable things secured because of its built in combination lock, slashproof lower and bottom panels of the bag, and that goes with the sling too. This is absolutely a one of the must have things for those who want their valuables to bring it with them anywhere they go.

Boots for Hunting????

As I surf the net, looking for some classy jackets to wear I happened to find these hunter boots and I was astonish by it because I thought it is use only for hunters who go to the woods and hunt animals, well I was wrong. It is a collection of stylish boots that are commonly used in winter. Well hunter wellies have really cool and elegant boots to wear though.

Boots are really useful especially on winter and in rainy season, but these I guess it’s could be use in different occasion also because of its classy look, not just like for what’s the weather for today.
“We've introduced the best new materials as they come along and invented a special, secret process that makes an infinitely better boot.”
By the looks of it you can say that the materials use are good. Hunter boots I guess are really worth buying.

My Birthstone

Birthstone is gemstone that varies according to the month that the person is born; January-Garnet, February-Amethyst, March-Aquamarine, April-Diamond, May-Emerald, June-Pearl, July-Ruby, August-Peridot, September-Sapphire, October-Opal, November-Topaz and December-Turquoise. According to Buzzle birthstone are said to be an ancient culture that is traditionally associated with zodiac signs that has legendary powers and unique personality traits to people who are born under their ruling planet.

As for me I was born in August so my birthstone would be Peridot. I have been wearing these Peridot earrings since birth. I don’t know I just don’t feel comfortable wearing other type of earrings, maybe because green is one of my favorite color. Anyways, there are really different meanings of Peridot they say that it provides protection from nightmares, others say it is a money stone meaning it brings money and opportunity into your life (hope it does), some say it help cures illnesses but for all I know is that it helps drives negative energy, somewhat a protection from bad things to happen. I guess it was effective though because I have been through different experiences in my life that I passed it through.

I believe that these birthstones are only symbols that we can link to what is reality, it doesn’t actually tells us of who we are nor our future. It will still be up to us to decide the kind of life we want, and the only thing that I am quite sure about it, is that it is really nice to look when you wear these gems.

My Own Router At Last

At last I have now my own Linksys WRT54GL Wireless-G Broadband Router. I have been longing to have a Linksys router ever since, for I find it reliable because they have been into networking products for a longer time already. I really search for what is best router for me and I found WRT54GL better.

WRT54GL Wireless-G Broadband Router of course is a wireless router, that has 4 10/100 RJ-45 Switched Ports that allows you to connect the devices that is not wireless and an Ethernet port of course for your DSL or High speed internet connection. It is really easy to configure just type in your internet browser 192.168.1.1 and you are ready to go. Well unfortunately I wasn’t able to use it at home for the reason that PLDT has no response yet for our internet connection at home ever since March that we have applied for it. So I tried it in my cousins’ house. We have tried using it for 3 Laptops, wired PC and a PSP all together and it works perfectly fine the internet connection wasn’t that slow as long as no one is downloading a file, of course the internet speed would matter accordingly.

I find Linksys WRT54GL Wireless-G Broadband Router better so far but you can always look to the internet for your preference like what I did. There are really different kinds of router to choose depending of your use but for me this is so far so good.

Bali Bali Samal Hmmmm......?

When I first saw it in the internet it was really enticing, the place was so great and you would definitely say “WOW”. I was so excited to go there. I borrowed my sisters’ camera to take some of the pictures that Jojie had taken in the place but sadly I was not able to. It is a 20-30 minutes boat ride from Lanang to Bali Bali Resort Samal.

When we got there, the first thing you will see is this fine hut in the docking area where passengers could sit back and relax while waiting for your boat in going home or just the pleasure of sitting there just to get some fresh air, and their catwalk towards the place were nice. When I reach their main attraction their so called “infinity pool”, it was so inviting, it has a kids pool, a mini somewhat like a Jacuzzi and I think it’s a 4ft for adults. I do have the chance to swim in, but my other companions weren’t able to for infinity = 10. Their landscape around the pool was so neat and calm.

But what I don’t like about the place is their beach wasn’t that pleasing, there are too many sea urchins and corals that are painful to your feet when you step on it. Also the owner wasn’t polite to treat their guest. Their staffs were great but the owner wasn’t, she was so ruthless in driving us away from the pool side for it wasn't part of the conditions made which we don't know about. We are only allowed to stay at the beach side, but she could have talk well to the leader of the group to relay the message because we don’t know what the arrangements are. They should have cleared it out to the person in charge before the group got there.

I would love to go around the place hoping to get some more nice pictures and to experience what Bali Bali is all about, but unfortunately the fun just end because of the same reason. We just enjoy ourselves taking picture of ourselves of the scenery of the place like criminals. LOL

If your intention is to enjoy the beach with your kids I don’t recommend it. Bring some floaters, for you can swim in the docking area for those who don’t know how to swim but would love to swim in the beach. The beach was so clear and clean by the way. Their food was delicious. Lastly clear things out first to the owner, of who are you talking to so that there would be no problem when you get there. Overall in the rate from 1 to 10, 10 as the highest I give it a 6 for I haven’t seen other part of the place and enjoyed some of their amenities.
